Before we all get ready for the ceremony of the day, let’s enjoy breakfast together and discuss the exciting plans for today. Roland will be visiting the ceremony beach after breakfast while Shannon will go off to get ready. Any guest is welcome to join either bride or groom or can enjoy the afternoon in their own way while getting ready for the big ceremony.
(Optional) Morning Salon Trip

Join Shannon on a morning trip to Crescent City's mall area to get salon treatments done. Or wait and relax at the lodge. After a quick hair curl, she'll be heading back to the lodge to get ready with anyone else who wants to get ready together and act like it's a high school dance again!

Roland will going to the ceremony beach. Tag along and walk along the beach before getting ready for the ceremony.
First Look Photos
4:00 pm - 4:30 pm
After getting ready, the bride and groom have their first looks at each other before the ceremony. This event is for the bride, groom, and photographer.
Wedding Ceremony

At the beach, with friends and family to witness - Roland and Shannon will say their “I dos”
Reception Dinner

After photos, the newly married couple will enjoy dinner with family and friends. Toasts and speeches may be given by anyone at the dinner table.
Reception Party

After dinner, enjoy music, dancing and some post-party karaoke.

Eat a delicious breakfast of island fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, pastries and maple sausage with us the morning after our big day as we decide how to spend the rest of the afternoon.
Roland and Shannon’s Hiking Photo Day
2:00 pm
Shannon and Roland will be heading out to the redwoods for photos with the photographer. Friends are welcome to attend to hike the redwoods but it should be noted that the newly married couple will have to split off alone early into the hike to continue their photos and say some private vows. Friends are encouraged to enjoy their evening however they wish and if all goes well, the couple will be back for nightly s’mores at the campfire.

Today is our adventurous free day, join in deciding how to spend this day with the newly married couple. Join Roland and Shannon in any of their ideas such as a trip to the beach, going kayaking or going on a lunch/dinner river tour. Or take this day to explore whatever you’d like!

Small-Town 4th of July Celebration Day

Get ready for a day filled with live music, beer gardens, small-town parade celebrations and fireworks to celebrate 250 years of the land of the (sort of) free. Celebrations are held in Gold Beach, Crescent City and Brookings.
