The Breakers
Newport is known for its historical rows of mansions on Bellevue Avenue. The Breakers, formerly the summer home of Cornelius Vanderbilt, is one of the most spectacular and seasonally boasts Newport's largest Christmas Tree. Most of the mansions run formal tours and have fabulous holiday decorations following Thanksgiving.
The Brick Alley Pub
One of the bride's long time favorites, as she remembers coming here even as a toddler! Excellent food and drinks, they have been a Newport staple for 40+ years

Best spot for dinner and a view! You will not feel like it is early December on their wharf front location! In business for 35+ years.
Newport Cliff Walk
New England's superlative walk by the sea! The Newport Cliff Walk is worth a trip, even in lower temperatures. (We have walked it in the fall and winter numerous times!) The path runs along backyards of the historic and spectacular mansions and private homes, admiring the ocean views that made this stretch of coast so alluring to America's rich and famous at the tail end of the 19th century. A stroll along this 3.5-mile pathway is a must for Newport visitors who'd like to experience architectural artistry as well as the majesty of the Atlantic, which provides a soothing soundtrack for your stroll.
