Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who are walking down to aisle with us.

Emily Catherine Hendricks

Maid of Honor

Meet my incredible maid of honor—my sister and my total opposite in so many ways, Emmie! While I tend to play it safe, she’s always pushing boundaries and keeping everyone on their toes with her vibrant energy and fun-loving spirit. Emmie is beautiful, inside and out, loves deeply, and is loyal to the bone. She’s a good sister and an even better friend and I’m grateful to have her next to me.

Emily Musgrave Johnson

Matron of Honor

Emily has been a BFF since our pre-school days at The Children’s Center in Franklin. We’ve done life together ever since – the Cottonwood swim team, Harry Potter premiers, Youth Group at the Episcopal church, and endless conversations covering life’s important moments. She's the kind of friend who listens deeply, cheers you on, and never misses a chance for a clever pun. Even though life took us to different cities after high school, our friendship has never faltered, proving that true bonds can withstand any distance.

Meredith Olson Priest

Bridesmaid

Meredith is a lifelong friend—truly someone I’ve grown up alongside, with our parents being friends for years. From an unforgettable spring break trip to the Dominican Republic to weekends spent at the lake tubing (me in goggles and Meredith fearlessly jumping from tube to tube), some of my favorite memories are with her. I admire so many things about Mere—she is a loyal friend and somehow knows how to do just about anything. No matter the situation, she’s always the one you can count on. She is truly a “go-to” girl in every sense, and I feel so lucky to have her as a friend.

Carlie Vowell Zadick

Bridesmaid

Carlie has been such a special part of my life ever since we met at Ole Miss, where we were lucky enough to be roommates for two years and our friendship has only grown stronger over the years. Carlie has the absolute best smile and she has this incredible way of making every person around her feel comfortable and valued. When she talks to you, she makes you feel like you’re the most important person in the room. She is truly adorable, endlessly lovable, and so, so smart, and I feel honored to have her as a friend.

Abbey Rae Campbell

Bridesmaid

Abbey and I met as AOII sorority sisters at Ole Miss, and she has been such a steady and special friend ever since. Abbey is an awesome listener, and we always love to share “the tea” together—she somehow knows exactly when to laugh with me and when to offer the perfect advice. I’ll never forget when I told her about this guy I had just met—my now fiancé, Mitchell—and she wisely told me I may have finally met my match as a talker. That moment sums her up so well: thoughtful, honest, and always a voice of reason. You truly could not ask for a more genuine friend, and I’m so grateful to have her in my life.

Kathryn Shetley Mitchell

Bridesmaid

Kate and I met at Ole Miss as AOII sorority sisters, and over the years our friendship has only grown stronger. We especially love a good beach trip together! She is the kind of person you can always count on—loyal, understated, and endlessly reliable in a way that brings so much comfort to those around her. Kate is super smart and independent, carrying herself with a quiet confidence that I truly admire. Simply put, she is a genuinely good friend, and I feel so thankful to have her support on such a meaningful day.

John Russell Leverton

Best Man

John has been one of the most meaningful friendships in my life, a bond that started back in our junior golf days as teenagers and only grew stronger with time. Even when life took us to different cities, we never lost that connection, picking right back up whenever we could. It felt like things came full circle when we reunited to play college golf together at Trevecca, creating even more memories along the way. John is the kind of person everyone hopes to have in their corner—loyal, caring, and incredibly intelligent, with a genuinely big heart. I’m grateful not just for the years of friendship we’ve shared, but for the kind of man he is and the role he continues to play in my life.

Payton James Williams

Groomsman

Payton has played such an important role in my life, especially during my time at Trevecca. From the moment I arrived, he took me under his wing and made a new place feel like home, even though I was six hours away from everything familiar. He welcomed me into his life in a way that went far beyond friendship—inviting me to church on Sundays, including me in family meals, and bringing me along for anything he had going on. That kind of genuine care and inclusion is something I’ll never forget. Payton is loyal, someone you can always count on, and while he has a thrill-seeking side, he carries it with a sense of balance that makes him both exciting and grounded. I’m grateful for his friendship and the way he made such a big world feel a little smaller.

Hugh William Hendricks

Groomsman

Hugh is not only Shannon’s younger brother, but now also my friend — I consider it a win! From the very beginning, he’s been welcoming and accepting, and honestly just an easy guy to be around. Importantly, he’s been very supportive of our relationship, at some point advising Shannon to “just not run him off”. Thanks Hugh, you’re a good man.

Jonathan Gustav Zadick

Groomsman

Jonathan is one of those friends who somehow makes life more fun, and he and Carlie have become one of our favorite “couple friends.” Whether it’s date nights, getting out on the golf course, or just hanging out, we always know we’re in for a good time when we’re together. Jonathan is very creative and always up for an adventure, the kind of guy who’s ready to say yes before you’ve even finished the idea. He brings an energy that’s easy to be around and hard not to appreciate, and I’m really grateful for the friendship we’ve built and all the memories we’ve made along the way.

Ryan Lee Teague

Groomsman

Ryan and I have one of those friendships that started in a pretty random way—meeting at a Bourbon Heads meetup in Texas, only to later realize we both actually lived in Nashville. From there, things came full circle when we ended up being roommates for a couple of years, which is where a lot of great memories (and probably a few good stories) were made. Ryan is someone I really respect—his discipline shows in everything he does, especially as a black belt in jiu-jitsu. Beyond all that, he’s just an all-around great friend, and I’m grateful for the bond we’ve built.

Ryan Kenneth Rozic

Groomsman

Ryan is another one of my Trevecca golf brothers, and I still remember helping recruit him and being immediately impressed by how down-to-earth and easy he was to talk to. It didn’t take long to see that he was the kind of teammate everyone hopes for—the one who leads by example, keeps a level head, and somehow always manages to be the voice of reason. More often than not, he was the mature one in the room, showing a steadiness well beyond his years. On top of that, he’s steadfast in his faith, something I’ve always deeply admired about him. Ryan is the kind of friend and teammate who makes everyone around him better, and I’m thankful to have shared that time together.

Stella Jayne Kirby

Flower Girl

Stella is 8 years old and full of charm. The daughter of Paige and Shaefer Kirby, she is beautiful, kind, and smart. She loves all things girly and brings so much joy wherever she goes. Stella is sure to make our day even more magical as she walks down the aisle.

Fitz Decker Kirby

Ring Bearer

Fitz is 7 years old and full of heart. The son of Britney and Spencer Kirby, he loves baseball, the Illini, and is always ready for a game or time outdoors. Smart, mannerly, and kind, Fitz brings such a sweet presence wherever he goes. We’re so excited to have him as a ring bearer on this special day.

Knox Sutton Kirby

Ring Bearer

Knox is 5 years old and full of personality. The son of Paige and Shaefer Kirby and younger brother of Stella, he’s a little silly, a little wild, and always keeps everyone smiling. He loves cheering on the Illini and bringing lots of energy wherever he goes—we can’t wait to see him make his way down the aisle!

Everett William Shannon

Ring Bearer

Everett is 5 years old and full of energy! The son of Courtney and Mack Shannon, he is caring, friendly, and smart. With his handsome smile and kind heart, we’re so excited to have him as part of our big day.

Shaefer William Kirby

Usher

Shaefer, cousin of the groom and Captain of the It’s a Beaut. If he’s not out at Lake of the Ozarks with his family, he’s probably cracking a joke and keeping everyone laughing. Fun, lighthearted, and always a good time, he’s the kind of person you’re instantly glad to be around. Loyal to his friends and family, and just like his twin brother Spencer, never one to turn down a cold beer and a great time!

Spencer James Kirby

Usher

Spencer, cousin of the groom and twin of Shaefer, is incredibly loyal and deeply cares about his family. He is someone you can always count on, a great listener, and has a quick wit when you least expect it. In short, he’s the kind of steady presence everyone needs. So lucky to have is support on our big day.

Mack Patrick Shannon

Usher

Mack, cousin of the bride, is simply one of the most kind-hearted people we know. He is quick-witted, caring, and loyal. He is a devoted family man and an amazing dad—we’re so lucky to have him with us on our special day.
