Our story began in the summer of 2023, when a few simple messages sparked something special between us. Shannon’s first impression of Mitchell was that he was handsome, respectful, and charming, with a witty sense of humor and obvious intelligence. Conversations flowed easily, and it didn’t take long for Shannon to realize Mitchell was a bit of an “old soul”—someone who valued meaningful connections and cherished family and quality friendships.   Mitchell’s early impression of Shannon was that she was not only beautiful but also driven, honest, and deeply loyal in her relationships. He admired her strong commitment to family and family traditions. He felt confident that she would be a loving spouse—someone you can truly build a life with.   Since those first impressions, we’ve learned a lot about one another. We both love to travel, have a good “pool day”, host a party, cheer on the Titans, attend a good concert, or enjoy a cocktail and a delicious meal. Also, we appreciate our faith in God and our church family at St. George’s.   Now, more than three years after that first exchange, we are thrilled to be getting married and excited to build a beautiful life together!
