Question

When should I book my flight/hotel?

Answer

We recommend as soon as possible! Rates are typically cheaper the further out you book. We also have a list of hotel room blocks and a curated airbnb list in our travel section :)

Is there a hotel block or preferred accommodations?

Answer

Yes! We have hotel blocks at both Austin Proper & The Fairmont, but you can stay wherever you choose. There are tons of hotels & airbnbs available. We do recommend staying downtown to get the full Austin experience!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Because Austin is so ride-share friendly, we will provide limited transportation. Everything is under 20 minutes away from each other which will be cost-effective and easy to find rides! We recommend scheduling an Uber through the Uber app to get to the ceremony before 5:30. We will offer transportation back to the hotels after the reception, leaving at 11pm. If you plan on leaving sooner, please plan alternative transportation :) There is plenty of parking at the venue if you choose to drive yourself.

What events should I plan to attend?

We would love to see everyone at the Welcome Party (Friday) and the Wedding (Saturday). We also have put together a list of recommended/optional activities if you plan to have a long-weekend in Austin.

Typically Memorial Day Weekend will range from high 60s - high 80s

Cocktail party attire for the Welcome Party & Formal (suits and long dresses) for the Wedding

Can I bring my kids?

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be adults-only other than those in the ceremony. Thank you for understanding!

Should I rent a car?

Answer

The short answer: probably not. Being a big city, Austin is very walkable & there is easy access to ride-share. However, if you are planning on exploring outside of the city, it is not a bad option!

Are there multiple wedding night venues?

Answer

Nope! We will have the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all in one location.
