Question

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding day will be Black-Tie Optional. That means you’re welcome to go all-out in a tuxedo or floor-length gown, but it’s not required. A dark suit and tie for men or a cocktail dress, midi, or floor-length dress for women is perfect. We’d love for you to lean into the celebration with elevated, festive attire that makes you feel fabulous! "Chic C'est La Vie" as the Countess would say!

Question

How do I get to and from the ceremony?

Answer

Shuttles will be running from the Hyatt Hotel at 2:45, 3:00, 3:15, and 3:30 PM. Our ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 PM, so we highly recommend catching an earlier shuttle—you won’t want to miss the beautiful Wilbur Mansion bar, which opens at 3:00 PM for guests to enjoy before the ceremony. If you’re staying at another hotel or an Airbnb, you can either make your way to the Hyatt to catch one of the shuttles, or grab an Uber/Lyft, which are affordable and widely available in the area. Following the reception, we will have shuttles starting at 9:30 which will take you either to the Hyatt Hotel or the After Party at The Red Stag Pub. They are just a short 3 minute walk away from each other! The final shuttle will also make a stop at Hotel Bethlehem.

Question

What’s the dress code for the rehearsal dinner & post rehearsal drinks?

Answer

Think polished but comfortable! For the guys: no jeans, but dress pants or chinos with a nice shirt will do the trick (no jacket required). For the ladies: a dress, jumpsuit, skirt, or chic trousers—whatever makes you feel great and party-ready. We just want everyone looking sharp without feeling stuffy. The evening will be indoor/outdoor, so bring a jacket or sweater if you tend to run cold. Bring your ID, PA can be very strict with checking them. Please note: the rehearsal dinner portion is invite-only for our family, bridal party, and their significant others (as listed on the RSVP events). Everyone is more than welcome to join us afterwards at 8pm for a drink to kick off the celebration!

Question

Hyatt Hotel Parking Instructions & Reminder

Answer

Hyatt Hotel recommends to check-in first prior to parking for validation at the parking garage across the street for in and out privileges. The rate is $12/night.

Question

Is the ceremony outside?

Answer

Weather permitting, yes! While the reception is indoors, the ceremony is outdoors on the Wilbur Mansion's private lawn space.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love all of our family and friends, Big and Small, but after much thought and consideration we've decided to go with an Adults-Only Wedding. Thank you for your love, support, and presence on our special day. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
