There is currently a global pandemic taking place. We want all of our guests to remain healthy following the weekend’s celebrations, so we encourage everyone to help out by following the standard Covid-19 precautions that we have all become accustomed to by now – wear a mask when indoors and whenever you are within 6 feet of any person over the age of 75(#wewantgrandmatoliveforever), and wash your hands frequently/use hand sanitizer. We will be providing masks and hand sanitizer at both the BBQ and the wedding, and will be taking additional precautions throughout the weekend to make sure that everyone has adequate room to socially distance (at whatever distance they feel most comfortable). If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us. And of course, perhaps goes without saying, but if you come in direct contact with someone who has the virus or you begin to feel ill prior to the wedding, we will miss you, but please stay home!
Guests are asked to arrange for their own transportation to the wedding. The hotels should offer a single shuttle to the venue. If people would like to coordinate to share an Uber/Taxi, or to carpool, please feel free to connect through the wedding Facebook page. Shuttles will be provided at the end of the night to take guests back to the hotels by the Greensboro Airport. If you are not staying at the hotels, you can always shuttle back to the hotels and then take an Uber/Taxi from there to your lodging (it will be easier to locate transportation from the hotels than it will be from the venue). You cannot leave your car overnight at the venue, so please plan ahead.
Summer Casual Cocktail Attire Encouraged. We want you to be comfortable, and we are well aware that August days in North Carolina can pack some heat, so please dress to your level of comfort for the wedding.
As long as you remember that the BBQ will now be held at Tanglewood Park (and not Lisa and Shannon’s home), you should be good to go! There will be plenty of food, drinks and picnic tables to go around, but if you would like to bring a camp chair for a more comfortable (and moveable) seating option, you are welcome to do so!
