We’re getting Meowied!!

The first time we met was when we were at our mutual friends house, Chris and Kelly. Well, I guess we met several times before, but I didn't remember that. Anyway, we were drinking and I actually had another girl with me. Kelly and Lisa were out that night, drinking, and finally made it to the house. Then it happened, Lisa entered the room. I was immediately taken back and smitten. She was glowing, beautiful, and I immediately knew she was the one for me.

I got home from work the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Shannon had been home all day preparing the house to be put in the market, as he was starting his new job in Winston Salem the Monday after Thanksgiving. He told me to sit down, that he had some bad news. He proceeded to tell me he wasn’t going to be able to come home with me for Thanksgiving because he still had too much to try to do, but he said he had a gift for me. I opened it, and it was a photobook with pictures of all the adventures we’ve had, complete with corny dad jokes. At the end there was a pick your own adventure asking if i was ready to put up with him. If yes turn the page, if not go back to the beginning and try again. I turned the page a the last page he asked me to be his love forever. I said yes and now here we are. Sidenote: all this went down while I was dressed as a turkey....
