We met at a work conference in Richmond, VA and immediately hit it off while playing darts during happy hour. Shannon was living and working in Tacoma, WA at the time, while Kaleb was loving life in Chicago, IL.

After keeping in touch for almost a year, our lives had settled a little closer together. Kaleb had found a position he loved in Atlanta, GA, and Shannon was working in Knoxville, TN. At only three hours away, we could spend many weekends together, and quickly found that our relationship was something serious. We loved getting to know each other better by exploring our cities together - with a shared love of good music, good food, and finding the diviest bar around.

Shannon accepted a new position in Atlanta. Not only could we finally enjoy weeknights together, but we started building a life together.

On a sunny Sunday morning, Kaleb woke Shannon up early to go for a walk. A very unusual occurrence. After an outfit change (or two) and a little over a mile at a suspiciously quick pace, we arrived at Lake Clara Meer in Piedmont Park. With the Midtown skyline in the background, Kaleb got down on one knee and asked Shannon to marry him. Obviously, Shannon said yes. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Atlanta!
