Mother of the Bride
My mother, who has loved and supported me throughout my entire life, will be escorting me to the alter. Of course, this role would traditionally be filled by my father but ever since his passing in 1999, my mom has been both mother and father to me. I credit her for the parts of me that are kind and thoughtful, the parts that are silly and fun, and the (couple) parts of me who try to be a responsible adult. She's always encouraged me to be my best in everything I've done even when I thought I wasn't good enough. She's taught me the value of honesty and kindness that I try to practice every day. I love my mom to the ends of the Earth and I can't imagine anyone else filling this role for me. I am so excited that she is doing for me this honor.
Mother of the Groom
During the journey I have taken in life that has brought me here today I have encountered many forks in the road. Many of which I have found my mom beside me; trying (and sometimes failing) to help me make the best decisions. Always trying to save me from having to learn things the hard way. And because of her efforts she’s helped me grow up. She encouraged me to try things I never would have known I wanted to do; without her I probably would never have stuck with many of those activities for very long either. My mom has stayed with me through it all; even when I was being unreasonable, a jerk, or down right cruel. She’s at least half the reason I am able to stand here today and I hope I can continue to make her proud to me my mom. She sure deserves at least that much effort from me. I love you Mom, Ma, Mummy, Mum, Mommy.
Bridesmaid
Donna and I have been buddies for quite a few years now, initially co-workers who learned we could depend on one another and that we got along quite well. We've both since left the company at which we met and Snapchat every single day and have fun when we get together. She's an incredibly thoughtful and creative person who loves her Mariners and her two dogs Smoke and Csonka.
Groomsman
One of my closest friends and cousin. Jordan has always been someone I can count on whether to cheer me up or push me out of my comfort zone. Not at all humble in all of the best and hilarious ways.
Bridesmaid
Kelsee is Joel's middle sister and soon to be my sister-in-law which is really cool to me as I am an only child. I'm super excited to gain such a cool sister (one of two!) although after this many years, they're already family to me in my heart anyway. Kelsee is a very intelligent and talented individual who does her own fabulous hair and is a huge animal lover.
Groomsman
Tough love is his M.O. but he can be one of the nicest people you could meet, in his own way. My dad's cousin and one of his closest friends, I grew up with Ken showing me what to and not to do in life, work, and everything in between. Ken has had a profound impact on the man I am today.
Bridesmaid
Torri is Joel's youngest sister and the other half of the pair of wonderful ladies I get to officially call my sisters soon. She's fun and super sweet with a huge heart and excellent customer service skills (haha!) and I am so delighted that she will be joining me for my special day. I also look forward to returning the favor later in the year!
Groomsman
One of the most loyal and chill people you'll ever meet. Julio is funny and wears his heart on his sleeve. Also a big wrestling fan and being very fluent in sarcasm we hit it off quickly. Friends like him aren't very common to say the least.
Officiant
I've known Dan for 10+ years and he's been the best friend anyone could ask for. Between wresting and movies we bonded almost instantly. We both helped watch other grow and I can't thank him enough for everything he's done for and with me.
