Directions to Schlitz Audubon Schlitz Audubon Nature Center 1111 East Brown Deer Road Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53217 On Lake Michigan, East of Lake Drive, approximately 1 mile east of I-43. 15 minutes north of downtown Milwaukee. From I-43: Exit Brown Deer Road and continue east on Brown Deer for one mile. As you approach a curve to the right where Brown Deer meets Lake Drive, move into the left turn lane. Turn left onto Lake Drive (north) and then immediately turn right to stay on Brown Deer Road (east). Drive for 1/8 mile and look for the Schlitz Audubon sign to the right. Turn right into the grounds and follow the road to the parking lot and the main building. Going North on Lake Drive: As you approach a curve to the right where Brown Deer meets Lake Drive, turn right onto Lake Drive (north) and then immediately turn right to stay on Brown Deer Road (east). Drive for 1/8 mile and look for the Schlitz Audubon sign to the right. Turn right into the grounds and follow the road to the parking lot, pavilion, and the main building.
