Downtown Charleston will be the closest to the venue. There are several neighborhoods within this area including South of Broad, French Quarter, King Street/ Cannonborough-Elliotborough and Harleston Village. These areas are closest to Lowndes Grove. They are walkable, beautiful with extraordinary restaurants and shopping. These areas will provide the most iconic Charleston experience. Mount Pleasant is a polished coastal suburb across the bridge from downtown CHS. The area will have larger Airbnbs and good hotels. It will also be near Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms. It will require driving and possible traffic to get to places in downtown. It is about 10-20minutes away from Lowndes Grove. James Island/ Folly Beach is a laid-back beach town with surf culture and seafood shacks. Several rental homes available in Folly Beach, but less hotel options. It is best of both worlds with a causal, beach like atmosphere yet able to drive to downtown to experience its southern charm.
