Jude Capili

Best Man

Jude and David have developed a brotherhood bond that originated in the mid-90s. They’ve been on countless adventures since their teenage years. Through all of life’s trials, tribulations, successes, and big moments—Jude has always been the type of person David could count on being present, open, and honest with him. There’s a well know Spanish saying: “Dime con quien handas, y te dire quien eres.” Translation: Tell me who you’re with and I’ll tell you who you are. Jude is the friend who epitomizes the best of this sentiment—if you keep the best of company, then you will grow to be come the best of men. This is why Jude is David’s Best Man—he’s always been there to help David be the best version of himself. Professionally, Jude is a culinary wizard and he and David love collaborating on dishes. Jude is also a talented artist—painting, graffiti art, mixed media, and photography.

Maid of Honor

Born 15 short months after Shannon, Sara is her younger sister and first friend. A constant in her life. Someone she turns to as a confidant, accomplice, and friend. She is kind, thoughtful, and one of the most generous people Shannon knows. She is supportive, a fierce advocate, and her Scorpio sting when aimed at others is a potent protectant! She loves loud with her actions and showers all around her with gifts of her time, will lend you a car, give you a dairy free recommendation, and take you away for a weekend retreat. She is nurse and damn good one. Her patients regularly compliment and recognize her efficient, kind, and effective care. She is empathetic to her patients and their families and now a leader on her unit. Shannon is honored to have her as a sister, friend, and witness to this special day.
