Love stories make the world go ‘round. Love sheds light during during hard times and fuels the lanterns of prosperity to burn brighter during good times. As fate would have it, two kids who grew up in the same neighborhood in Concord a couple miles away from each other never crossed paths over the course of forty years. We attended some of the same middle schools and high schools in the 90’s, but never connected during that era. In the 2000’s, we both went off to college. And in the 2010’s we each made our way to UC Berkeley for grad school. Close in proximity, but no connection. In this modern technological age, an application with a Bumble Bee 🐝 logo connected us. Once we found our honey—boy oh boy did we get BUSY! We found each other at a time that was right in both of our lives. In the mosaic of life, we were blessed to find the piece in each of our lives that had been missing—the piece that God made us wait until now to find. Now we have found the key to unlock all the love bones in our bodies, minds, and souls. Much has been written about love. Pablo Neruda captured the essence of our union when he wrote: “I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no you or I, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.” We are blessed to have found a Generational love. A love that will motivate, inspire, heal, and bless our new family for generations to come. Together we will become the best versions of ourselves—individually and collectively. Thank you for sharing in our love story. We’re excited to keep writing chapters and are blessed to have you all be a part of this beautiful love.
