Our friendship started off in 2013 at a Cato's store in Tyler, with Mellisa thinking I hated her... Eventually she realized that I was not as mean as I looked! We then went from being coworkers, to roommates, to long distance besties, and now I am the god mom to the two cutest kids who thankfully live in Texas again. I am so glad that all those shifts working together and talking about music and books lead to the most amazing friendship a girl could ask for.

We first met when we were 3 and it has been a rollercoaster since. From him coming over and managing to always hurt himself at my house, to having water balloon fights in our first apartment after high school. This is one of the very first friends I ever made at Miller Grove. We were able to go from seeing each other almost everyday since kindergarten, to long distance friends during the end of high school and college, and now both of us living in DFW. Who would have thought we would go from dancing and reenacting the Lizzie McGuire movie, to jamming out to Stray Kids and Ateez in our newly born K-pop obsession, and now dancing it out at my wedding twenty-five years later!?

After being one of the last friends that started in middle school with us, he was never able to do much with everyone when we were together outside of school but after graduation and starting college, he was always around and you basically couldn't get rid of him. From obsessively playing videos games together, to watching him struggle to drink alcohol during parties, he has changed so much since we first met. Now he has moved off to Georgia and left us all in Texas, but is always there for his friend's big moments.

Twenty-five years of friendship has lead us from late nights laying on her trampoline and blaming every scary noise on the horses, to now getting the adult experience of being in one another's wedding. I also don't think anything prepares you for when your childhood best friend has a child of their own, but if she is anything like her mom she is going to be the most amazing little human!

We slowly became friends after spending so much time at her house with her brother. She became one of my closest friends, and we spent a lot of hours finding the most random things to do playing games together. We all eventually graduated and left her to finish high school by herself, but now she has the bragging rights that she is higher on this page than her brother. Sorry, Ben.

One of the best things that came from working at Riata was becoming best friends with this beautiful person. I have said this to her many times and I will say it again, I have never become friends with someone so fast and I will always be so glad she got hired to work with me. He was the messiest roommate that I have ever lived with, though he lived off the living room couch, so I guess that made it fair. Some of the craziest times of my life came with him around, but for those that know him, that shouldn't be much of a surprise. I will never forget sadly eating together at Casa Ole while thinking we were going to get evicted from our first apartment. Oh, and if you need a good drink recommendation his bartending skills are top notch, just don't let him convince you to try alcohol with a raw egg in it.

Even when we go months without seeing one another, I know we can always meet up and its like no time has past. Also, if I ever need someone to back me up doing something absolutely crazy, she is there with best energy and of course tequila. I fully expect her to get the party started!

I went to school with him for a long time but didn't become close friends with him until high school. He is definitely a friend that will do anything with you, no matter how crazy the idea is, however most of the crazy ideas most likely came from him in the first place. I always look forward to the random times that we get to see each other now, and fully expect him to bring some insanity with him to Fort Worth.
