Things To Do

Go for a hike

There are a ton of great hike options in or near the town. Some of our favorites include Booth Falls Trail and Berrypicker Trail! If you're looking for something less strenuous, you can walk the Gore Creek Trail that winds through town along the Gore Creek.

Betty Ford Alpine Gardens

Beautiful alpine garden and an easy walk from Vail Village!

Piney River Ranch

It's a bit of an adventure to get to Piney Lake (about a 45 minute drive on a rough dirt road) but worth the work if you want to see an alpine lake with all the fall colors!

Vendetta's

291 Bridge Street, Vail, CO

Great Italian food!

The Little Diner

616 W. Lionshead Circle, Vail, CO

Amazing breakfast spot, we love the breakfast burrito and biscuit sandwich!

Les Delices De France

531 East Lionshead Circle, Vail, CO

A Hughes family breakfast staple before a day of skiing, but they also have good lunch options!

Garfinkel's

536 East Lionshead Circle, Vail, CO

Right at the base of the mountain with a deck looking right out onto the resort, a perfect spot for a bar-food lunch with a view.

Red Lion

304 Bridge Street, Vail, CO

A historic bar in Vail Village with live music and a great atmosphere!

La Bottega

100 East Meadow Drive, Vail, CO

Another great Italian restaurant in Vail Village!

Up the Creek

223 Gore Creek Drive, Vail, CO

Right along the Gore Creek river!

For all the days along the way
