What is the recommended attire for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Semi-formal. Think cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, a suit and tie or a sports coat.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Colorado weather, especially in the mountains, can be pretty unpredictable! The average high in October is in the mid-50s but it does cool down considerably at night. The ceremony will be outside, so we recommend packing layers.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Yes! Evergreen Lodge in Lionshead is offering 10 percent off your room at the time of booking. There are also a ton of other hotels, lodges and Airbnbs in the area.

Where should I park? Is it free?

Answer

Donovan Pavilion has 135 free parking spaces and you can leave your car overnight, as long as you pick it up by 10 a.m. the next morning. The Town of Vail also runs free buses until 2 a.m. (which is the best way to get around the town) and there's a stop about a 3 - 5 minute walk from Donovan Pavilion.
