Since the Eno wine bar (our first date spot) isn't around anymore, check out Lola's Place right next door! It's a lovely coffee shop/bar with indoor and outdoor seating.
We went there on our first date!
One of our first hang out spots in Durango! Charlie worked there when we started dating. Great food trucks, bar, indoor and outdoor seating.
Our first dance! And fav music spot in town. Check it out if there's a show happening while you're in town!
One of Durango's staples, the Strater Hotel has a cool bar, The Office, where Charlie plays music every week. Ask the receptionist for a tour of the building, including the secret cubby holes, underground tunnels and ghosts.
Have an extra day? Take the train up through the mountains to Silverton, an old mining town tucked away north of Durango. It's beautiful!
Looking for something to do with kids? Try the Powerhouse! It's got a bunch of fun, science-y activities.
Looking for a kid-friendly activity? Check out kids events at the library!
Want to get outside but stay in town? Try the ABC Trail that zig-zags up to the mesa and Fort Lewis College.
Want to go for a hike near town? Try the Horse Gulch trail system! You'll quickly forget you're right next to a city. Go prepared, bring extra water and know your route.
A great spot to hit the river for tubing, kayaking or rafting! There are no rapids until you get to 29th Street Park, or you can keep going through town and the whitewater park at Santa Rita Park!
Have a picnic, hang out and watch people go through the whitewater park!
Get a taste of the Rockies by heading up to Lizard Head Pass! It's beautiful, the wildflowers might be popping, and it's a 20 minute drive from our venue. Go prepared: Bring sun gear, extra food and water and know your route before you head out. Cell coverage is limited.

Our fav market on the drive! It has a lot of grocery food options, but the selection is limited and slightly more expensive. Your nearest full grocery store is City Market in Cortez.
This beautiful hike pairs very well with wine from Sutcliffe Vineyards. :)
More food, coffee shop and bar options available in Dolores! It's 30 mins from our venue.
The closest city to our venue where you can find full grocery stores, cheaper food options, and other things you might need before heading up to the lodge.
Telluride is a beautiful, magical place and definitely worth the 45 minute drive from our venue! It is more expensive though, so don't plan to do your grocery shopping there.
