All of our wedding events (rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception) are at Storm Peak Lodge, called Storm Peak Outfitters on Google. The address is 28081 CO-145, Dolores, CO 81323, and there is parking on site. Our ceremony starts at around 4 p.m. June 27, 2026, and our reception will end around 11 p.m. or midnight.
OUT-OF-STATE GUESTS: We recommend flying into local airports (Durango, Cortez, Montrose) or Albuquerque International Airport in New Mexico. The venue is 1.5 hours from Durango, and you will need to coordinate your own transportation to the lodge. We recommend reserving and coordinating rental cars with your group. Please carpool if possible. The lodge is in a remote area with limited cell phone service and no public transportation. Check routes before you go on maps.cotrip.org. IN-STATE GUESTS: Please plan to carpool as much as possible since parking is limited at the lodge. If you have a camper, truck topper or car camping setup, please bring it if you'd like to sleep on-site! More details in the lodging section.
The ceremony is mountain dressy. So what does that mean? Think cocktail attire: It's fancier than jeans, but you can wear boots, ditch the stilettos and bring out the bolo ties. We'll be walking on grass and uneven turf, and there won't be much shade at the ceremony site (weather permitting). You can leave the sneakers and ball gowns at home. The only color to avoid is white. :) Bring a layer for the evening since temperatures can be pretty cool in June in the mountains. You might want to also include an umbrella or a raincoat. June weather often includes quick rain showers, and we won't change the ceremony location for quick, light sprinkles.
Unfortunately, we could not add plus ones for every guest because of capacity limits. You'll know if you have a plus one if you see it on your invitation or during the RSVP process. If you think you have a plus one, but you're not sure, please check with Charlie and Shannon before finalizing your plans since plus ones are very limited. If you haven't RSVP'd at this point, go ahead and fill out the form asap!
As much as we'd love to have your kiddo at the wedding, we do have a limited capacity, and we're aiming to have an adults-only event. (We won't have a kids zone, food, games or anything like that.) If you're part of the immediate family, wedding party or traveling in from out of state, then you do have the option to bring your kids. If you're planning to stay at the lodge with kids, please touch base with Charlie and/or Shannon asap.
Charlie and Shannon's ceremony will be on Storm Peak grounds at around 4 p.m. Before the ceremony: Guests will enter the drive and be directed to a place to park or find their own parking on site. You'll also be able to find more information and a map of the grounds at our greeting table. Be prepared to walk about five minutes to the ceremony location, and you'll have signs to guide you. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to give yourself time to park and get to the site. During the ceremony: There will not be assigned seating or a receiving line after the ceremony. It's important to us that everyone can experience the moment in full, so we're doing a phone-free ceremony. But don't worry about missing a moment: we've coordinated both video and photography to capture the day. Following the ceremony: Guests will be able to enjoy light appetizers and drinks before we head into the dinner and reception. We will be providing vegan and gluten-free food options for the appetizers, dinner and desserts. We will also provide both alcohol-free drinks and a signature cocktail from the couple. It won't quite be a full bar, but you'll also be able to choose from beer, wine, hard seltzers, THC drinks, tequila and gin.
For anyone camping in tents, truck toppers, RVs, etc. for Saturday only, please plan to arrive between noon and 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 27, to set up camp before the ceremony. The ceremony begins at 4 p.m., and it's a 5-10 minute walk from all camping areas.
Thank you all so much for sharing gifts with us to celebrate this whole sha-bang! You can find our registry under the registry tab on this website. There are cash options and specific items, and we tried to include a broad price range. We put a lot of thought into this, and we're really excited about what we included. Kindly choose from these items first. You're welcome to bring the gift to the ceremony or ship them to us directly. Our address is: 476 E. 5th St. Durango, CO, 81301

Please consult your doctor before traveling. Here is a comprehensive resource from the CDC about altitude sickness: https://www.cdc.gov/yellow-book/hcp/environmental-hazards-risks/high-altitude-travel-and-altitude-illness.html WARNING: It is easier to become dehydrated in Colorado's semi-arid climate. Bring a water bottle and hydrate frequently! For those consuming alcohol: Alcohol hits faster at higher elevations, so be careful and pace yourself.
Need help with the logistics? Here's a sample packing list for the trip. Beds: Guests at the lodge or other indoor facilities will have bedding provided. For the campers, please bring your own tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, etc. Colorado temperatures in June can drop into the low 40's. Food: The wedding will provide Friday rehearsal dinner, Saturday reception dinner and Sunday brunch, plus very light snacks here and there. Guests are responsible for all other food and beverages. There are two full kitchens on-site at the lodge with refrigerators and food storage. Contact Shannon and Charlie if you are coming in from out of town and need help with coolers or other food storage options. This venue is open to bringing your own personal beverages, including alcohol. Weather: Come prepared for temperatures that range from 40 degrees to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. (Layers are always good!) June weather in the mountains often includes fast-moving rain showers, so come prepared for rain. You might have more sun exposure than you're used to, so bring hats, sunscreen, chapstick and other sun gear. Colorado also has summer wildfires, which normally start later in the summer. The smoke can be irritating to those with asthma or other lung diseases. Activities: You might want to hike, swim, go horseback riding, lay out in the sun or hang out at night next to the bonfire. Pack accordingly! Fancy wear: You'll only want nicer outfits for the rehearsal dinner and wedding ceremony. Advice: Bring a personal water bottle to help yourself stay hydrated!
The lodges are full, but we still have room for RVs, campers and tents! STAYING IN THE LODGES: Check-In: 4 p.m. Thursday, June 25 Check-Out: 2 p.m. Sunday, June 28 Check-Out procedures: Information coming soon. The lodges include 50 beds in private rooms and shared spaces, like bunk rooms (multiple bunk beds in the same room), rooms with a mix of queens and twins, and pullout couches. There are three floors, each with a bathroom, in each lodge. The lodges are not wheelchair accessible, and guests should be able to climb some stairs. If you haven't paid, please pay Shannon through Venmo at @Shannon-Mullane. If Venmo is not an option, you can text her at 865-851-5792 to find another way to pay. PLANNING TO CAMP: Arrival: Come anytime Saturday, unless the couple confirms a different plan with you individually. Please arrive before 3:30 p.m. so you have time to park and arrive at the ceremony. Departure: Plan to be off-site by 2 p.m. at the latest TENT CAMPING: $40 per tent per night Tent camping is available for the wedding night (June 27) only, unless the couple confirms a different plan with you individually. There are 3-4 group campsites, each large enough for 2-4 tents. It's a 45-acre property, so you can also find a pretty spot you like! Shannon will have to work with the venue to pay for tent camping so please venmo Shannon to secure your spot. GLAMPING: $250 per wall tent Glamping is available for the wedding night (June 27) only. Each wall tent includes 4-6 twin beds, rugs, camp tables, etc. Shannon will have to work with the venue on wall tents. Guests will need to venmo Shannon to secure their spot. CAR CAMPING: Free The venue will have room for 10-20 truck toppers, car camping setups (no tents) and small RVs/campers on-site. Guests are invited to car camp Saturday night. If they are also attending the Family (Re)Union, they can also stay Thurs/Fri nights. Please contact Shannon to reserve your spot.
There are several nearby lodging options for people interested in staying off-site. Check out the travel page for a few suggestions. NEAR THE VENUE: Circle K Ranch and Green Snow Oasis are both fun options close to the venue. Shannon and Charlie have held some rooms/cabins at each place. Find more details on the travel page! Guests should contact each location to reserve, and the rooms will be released on Feb. 22. Mention that you're part of Shannon and Charlie's wedding or use the wedding code HENRY2026. NEAR DURANGO: You'll also find a few Durango lodging options on the travel page. I've listed some details for hotels, but there are also Airbnb and VRBO options. If you stay outside of Durango city limits, you'll need a rental car. Public transit options are limited. HOTELS: We recommend staying in the downtown area (Camino del Rio east to E 3rd Avenue, and between E 4th Street and E 15th Street/Florida Rd). You'll be within a half mile of Durango's best shops/restaurants and public transportation. Best Western Plus Rio Grande Inn, General Palmer, The Strater Hotel, Leland House, Durango Lodge and other spots in that area are all nice. Other good (but less walkable) options near downtown are Holiday Inn and Suites Durango, Residence Inn by Marriott Durango, and Fairfield by Marriott Inn and Suites. You'll see budget friendly options on the north side of town along the main road, Camino del Rio. Make sure you check reviews and quality for these, some are totally fine, a few not so much. We would not recommend staying at Spanish Trails. PUBLIC TRANSIT: The Durango Trolley runs a loop around the downtown area and north along Camino del Rio all day. There are also other bus lines, but we do not have a huge transit system. Check out the city's website for more details: https://www.durangoco.gov/333/Transit (copy and paste, Zola won't let us paste links)
