We met at a Karaoke night in the mid to late summer of 2020. Where he just so happened to know one of my close family members in the little town of Paonia CO. And was about to strike up a conversation with her, she was a bit tied up and about to sing, when we made eye contact. Looking into his eyes I knew that there was something special and magical about this meeting. In my mind we hit it off and became somewhat inseparable thereafter. Even with the fact that I had just moved to Colorado from SLC (Amid a Global Shutdown) and had also lost my phone previously. That didn't stop us we were both determined to meet up "the old fashioned way" some may say, by walking over to his Family Home and knocking on the door. It was a bit refreshing to do so, I enjoyed seeing his face light up when he would come and answer the door or even his mother's face when she would answer instead. First time in my life where it feels like home... I was drawn to him, there was just something about him? That kept me coming back...We could spend hours on end sharing stories all night about our lives and the experiences we've gone through, up to us meeting. We have now since moved from Paonia, Ridgway and now landed in Ouray Colorado where we work, hike and play…and of course carry on our “personal tradition” singing Karaoke at our local dive. We have built a cozy life together here in this little town, sharing our daily adventures with our adorable dogs Spice and Kairi. As the years go by we grow stronger and more deeply connected as a couple and are so delighted to continue our love story on to the next chapter!
