What are the rules on COVID vaccination?

Answer

Starved Rock Lodge is limiting the number of unvaccinated guests at this current time so knowing guests' vaccination status is crucial for our numbers. If you are planning on getting vaccinated, you must be fully vaccinated by June 11th. If you are vaccinated, please let Shannon or Aaron know so they can add you to the list because Starved Rock will be checking proof of vaccination upon your arrival to the event. We apologize for this inconvenience but we want everyone to have the best time and this can only happen if we provide the Lodge with the correct numbers prior to the event. If you are not vaccinated and do not plan to be, we have you accounted for but just need to know this information prior to the event so we can ensure we do not exceed the number the venue is allowing at the event. As always please bring your masks with you. Thank you.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but we would love for you to have a weekend to relax and just enjoy the wedding festivities by yourself.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have booked a room block at the Starved Rock Lodge. To access the room block you must CALL the lodge and ask for the Hammond/O'Connor block. if you try to book online it will say it is completely booked up. We also have a block available at Days Inn just outside the park, but no shuttle service is available.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would like everyone to RSVP by May 12th. Our room booking at Starved Rock Lodge closes 6 weeks prior to the wedding so you will need to book prior to then as well.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered through the Zola website to make things easier for everyone. You can visit our registry though this website and then gifts can be sent to our house. If you have any questions or issues with accessing the registry please reach out to either Aaron or Shannon.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5pm and will be a short ceremony on the outlook area near the cabins. The reception will be to follow at the Lodge which is a 5 minute walk from there.
