It's a big Indian wedding- there will be a plethora of food at each event. One note: everything served at the wedding will be vegetarian
Each guest will be provided a room for the duration of the wedding at the Antilia hotel where all of the events will take place.
Your transportation to Sonipat will depend on if you are landing in Delhi and directly traveling to the venue or if you'll be traveling in India first. Let us know your general plans and we will try and arrange transportation in groups if possible from Delhi.
We will hire a choreographer for this event, but you are more than welcome to organize and choreograph your own dance for the the Sangeet. We've linked a few examples of other Sangeet dances as inspiration.
No — we do not recommend renting a car if you have never driven in India before. Uber and other ride-share options are easy and reliable.
The easiest way is to take an Uber from New Delhi Airport directly to the venue (Antilia by ZION, Sonipat). If you need help booking a ride or arranging pickup, please let us know!
In October, Sonipat typically has warm and pleasant weather. Daytime temperatures average around 28–32°C (82–90°F), while evenings are cooler around 16–20°C (60–68°F). It’s generally dry with low humidity. What to wear: Lightweight, breathable fabrics for daytime A light shawl, wrap, or jacket for cooler evenings Comfortable shoes, especially if you plan to explore or sightsee Wedding events will have a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces.

Yes — if you have T-Mobile, you’ll get free 3G data but no calling. Otherwise, you can buy an eSIM online (providers like Airalo, Holafly, Nomad) for voice and data. We highly recommend having some sort of international data & voice plan.
Most hotels, restaurants, and shops accept Visa and Mastercard. Amex and Discover work at some places, but Visa/Mastercard have wider acceptance. Carry a small amount of INR cash for tips and smaller purchases.
