When should I RSVP by?

We ask that all guests please RSVP by October 1st. We are so excited to celebrate together!

Why is the ceremony not on the schedule?

Answer

The ceremony will take place the same day at a local church, but it will be an intimate gathering with just grandparents, parents, siblings, and the bridal party. While the ceremony itself will be private, we cannot wait to celebrate with all of you at the reception and after-party—it will be a day full of love, laughter, and fun!

Can I bring a guest or my kids?

Answer

Due to limited space at our venue, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation, so please refer to your invite for any plus ones. As much as we love all the little ones in our lives, we are only able to invite the children of our siblings and first cousins. Additionally, no one under 21 is permitted at Just Jake's for the after party. Thank you so much for your understanding. We cannot wait to celebrate together!

Is there parking at Porta Montclair?

Answer

Parking is not available at the venue, so we recommend using Uber or Lyft for a stress-free, safe, and convenient ride. If you plan to drive, metered street parking is free after 7 PM, or you can use one of our recommended parking garages: - The Crescent Deck, 13 The Crescent, Montclair, NJ 07042 - South Fullerton Parking Plaza, 7 Seymour St, Montclair, NJ 07042 Please plan ahead to ensure a smooth and easy arrival.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love for everyone to feel confident and comfortable while looking their best. Cocktail attire is encouraged — for men, a jacket is appreciated (tie optional). For women, cocktail dresses or dressy jumpsuits are perfect.
