The final song of the reception before heading to the after party will be "You Never Even Called Me By My Name" by David Allen Coe. Why? Because when Ryan was in Athens (studying very very hard) every bar closed out the night with the same song so why not close out our wedding the same way? We highly recommend listening to it and learning it ahead of time or you'll be one of the few people not belting it at the top of your lungs. You can find all the other answers you need below and if you think of something not covered, feel free to reach out to us!
We’ve addressed the envelopes and set up the online RSVP system to name each invited friend or guest, so the invited guests are listed on your envelop and online RSVP. As much as we love our friends kids, our venue just doesn't have the capacity for them all, so the only "kids" in attendance are directly related to the bride or groom. If you have any questions regarding the guest list or need more details, just reach out!
Invites will be sent summer 2025. To provide headcounts to our vendors, we ask that you kindly RSVP (yes or no) by October 3rd. To RSVP, you can scan the QR code on your invitation or navigate to the RSVP tab. Enter your name as it appears on your invitation envelope to access and fill your personalized RSVP. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
There is ample free parking behind the ceremony site in lots along Beachview Drive (good point of reference is the Golden Isles Welcome Center). All wedding events are a quick walk (5 minutes walking or less) from there. If you'd like, you can also drive from the ceremony to Palm Coast, there is limited parking around the building on Oglethorpe and Mallery Streets.
At the end of November, a typical day in SSI would be highs in the mid-to-high 60s and lows in low-to-mid 50s, with light wind and low chances of rain. We will update this closer to the wedding as forecasts are released.
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all outdoors but are mostly covered. We also have backup spaces at each venue in case of inclement weather. If the weather forecast is chilly, we will have heaters at cocktail hour/reception after the sun sets.
We are serious. Come as you are, we just want you to come!!! If you *must* have a dress code for your own piece of mind, think beachy cocktail and wear your dancing shoes (there will be light walking between events, ~2-5 minutes, and a mixture of concrete, brick, and gravel floorings).
Absolutely! Please take pictures and share them with us (we plan to create a shared album that everyone can add pictures to); however, we do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony itself. We've hired a photographer so you can be fully present in the moment and rest assured someone is clicking away to document it all.
Truthfully, what we want most is to celebrate this day with the friends and family who have supported us both individually and as a couple over the years so the best gift you can give us is your presence. If you can't attend or would like to offer an additional gesture, we've created a small registry available on the registry tab of this site. We will not have a gift table or card box at the event.
We have not reserved any blocks of rooms. Because our wedding is smaller, we do not meet minimum quantities needed to do so. Instead, we recommend staying in larger groups in rental homes/condos in the area or checking out hotel options listed under the Travel tab.
