How do I RSVP?

You can click on the RSVP tab above and RSVP by Sept. 27th, 2024.
Question
Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Due to limited space we can only accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out to “(Your Name) & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you.

What should I do if I can not make it?
Answer
You will be missed! If you can not attend our wedding, please indicate “will not attend” on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP’d “attending” but find that you cannot make it, please email Shani and Winston at thejohnsons10123@gmail.com.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
The time for the ceremony will be given on your formal invite, and we ask that you arrive no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony starts. If you arrive after the ceremony has begun, you will not be able to be seated and will have to wait until cocktail hour to enter.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We will be having an “Unplugged” ceremony. No phones or cameras should be used until after the ceremony, as we have hired a professional to capture this moment. We want everyone to be fully present as we say, “I do.” Once we are announced as Husband and Wife, feel free to take all the photos and videos you would like for the rest of the evening.

Is this a kid-friendly wedding?
Answer
As much as we love kids and babies, we want everyone to have as much fun as we plan on having. Only the children in the wedding party will be in attendance on our big day. Look at this as an opportunity for a fun night out, so leave the kids with your parents or a babysitter and join the festivities.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Semi-Formal/Cocktail attire Ladies can wear below-the-knee dresses, a dressy skirt, and top, or an elegant pantsuit. Men can wear dress shirts and slacks, with the option of wearing a tie.

What colors should I avoid wearing?
Answer
We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride: whites, ivories, and creams.

Do we have a wedding registry?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However, if you wish to honor us with a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon fund would be very welcome. Our honeymoon fund is linked above in the registry tab. There will also be a card box at the reception.

Are there hotels near the venue?
Answer
Yes, there are hotels within 20 minutes of the venue. For more information, visit the travel section above.

Yes, there is complimentary valet parking at the venue.
