Hello! My name is Dr. Andrew Clermont, and I have been friends with Noel since my freshman year of college in 2014. Noel has always been a mentor to me and the other residents, and I was blessed to find a brother in him. A bond over our faith, games, and Batman evolved into a brotherhood that has aided us in navigating the challenges and successes of life. His friendship has been an integral part of my support system through college, medical school, and now in residency. In my spare time, I enjoy kickboxing, reading, and playing video games. I’m excited to be Noel’s best man and to be a witness to the next big step of his life!

I met Shani on the same cruise as my brother did; though we did not speak much on the cruise, she was the only topic my brother wanted to talk about after. Shani has been a great influence on my brother, and I know they will have a fruitful marriage. I love seeing Broadway shows and exploring nature. Hi, my name is Shane Date, and I am one of Shani’s older brothers. I am from Brooklyn, NY, and am currently employed in the Heathcare IT space. I enjoy watching MLS games and investing. I have known Noel for several years now. One of our most vivid memories together was a haunted house tour we attended in Pennsylvania with Shani and my wife Alicia. It was a hilarious and scary group trip that Noel led the entire time!

Noel has been in my life from my earliest memories. I’m basically his little brother. I would always be at his house hanging out with him whether it was a holiday, birthday party, or just a normal weekend. My fondest memory of Noel is when he introduced me to a book series called Artemis Fowl. It might not be notable for some people, but to this day Artemis Fowl is one of my favorite book series and him introducing me to that book led me to become a massive bookworm in elementary and middle school. In my childhood, I thought Noel was the coolest person on the planet, and that’s why I’ve always tried to model myself after him he’s a great role model. I’m sure he will be a great husband and an even greater father in the future. I don’t know Shani all too well but that’s the only girlfriend I can remember Noel having or at least the only one he brought home so she’s cool with me!

Fun fact about me is I can wiggle my right ear without touching it! Hi, my name is Khalil Thomas, and I met Noel when he was my RA at the Mike’s at Xavier. He was always really cool and put up with my antics. Xavier was something else, but we became close over the past 10 years. He was always willing to give advice while letting me be myself and grow into who I am today. Nowadays, I am a speech pathologist, and I like to work out and play video games. I can play several instruments, sing, and do da splits. I’m looking forward to his big day and celebrating with him.
