What is the Covid level in Jamaica?

Answer

As of March 2021, the current Covid level in Jamaica is Level 4. We will be sure to update this every month with any new information we receive. However we are still scheduled to travel and have our ceremony in Jamaica. If there are any changes we will be sure to communicate those changes as soon as possible.

What are the protocols for traveling to Jamaica & back to the Unites States?

Answer

1. BEFORE you travel, get tested with a viral test 1–3 days before your trip. YOU MUST TRAVEL WITH YOUR TEST RESULTS AND MUST BE NEGATIVE!!! Do not travel if you are waiting for test results, test positive, or are sick. Alternatively, travelers to the U.S. may provide documentation from a licensed health care provider of having recovered from COVID-19 in the 90 days preceding travel. 2. During travel, YOU MUST GET TESTED ON SITE (prior to departure) for entry back into the states. Wear a mask, stay at least 6 feet from people who are not traveling with you, wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer, and watch your health for signs of illness. 3. After you travel, get tested 3–5 days after travel AND stay home for 7 days after travel. If you don't get tested, it's safest to stay home for 10 days.

Does the resort have a Covid testing site?

Yes. The Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton has a site located on the resort to test for Covid-19.PCR and/or Antigen tests available for U.S. citizens. Test results are reliably available within 72 hours.

You will need your Passport. (Please check all expiration dates in the event you may need to renew your passport before you travel July 2021. This process may take a while. If you do not have a passport please see your local post office for a application as well as your local library.)

Absolutely, this is a family friendly resort. Although it is all inclusive, including serving unlimited alcoholic beverages. Children can come to the resort and attend the wedding. There are also fun activities for children at the resort.

How far is Montego Bay from Lucea?

Approximately 40 minutes (driving). Also, the resort does have cabs that can take you to the city for a cost of 60$ (if you are interested in exploring outside of the resort).

How can I communicate with Bride & Groom and others while in Jamaica?

Answer

We highly recommend everyone to download: WHATS APP. This app will allow for us to send free texts, calls, and stores photos that captures all wonderful moments during our time together. We will be using this app to communicate with all guests for when and where we will meet together for family fun and excursions throughout our stay in Jamaica.
