Historic Downtown Perry
Perry's historic downtown is packed full of interesting shops and restaurants with delicious food. Follow signs to free parking lots, or park right on Carroll Street. We have enjoyed each restaurant that we have tried in downtown. We recommend The Swanson, 'Orleans on Carroll Street and Schultze's Old Fashioned Soda Shop for lunch and dinner. Bodega Brew is a great café with a few breakfast and lunch items. Morning By Morning Coffee Company is also a great café with some lunch offerings just a little bit off the main strip of downtown. Museum of Aviation
This is one of our favorite places to visit in Warner Robins. Parking and admission is free but they take donations. They are normally open 9am-4pm, and closed on Sunday. Location: ~ 26 minutes (18.4 miles) from Best Western Bradbury Inn & Suites ~ 19 minutes (13.2 miles) from the wedding venue
Historic Downtown Macon
Macon's historic downtown is is lined with lively bars, interesting stores, and restaurants with delicious food. Street parking is available. Make sure to pay the meter Monday-Saturday 8am-8pm. Meters are $1.25/hr with a 3 hour limit. For visits longer than 3 hours, use one of the parking garages! We have enjoyed each restaurant that we have tried in downtown. We recommend Rookery, Parish on Cherry, Kudzu Seafood Company, Kinjo Kitchen + Cocktails, Fatty's Pizza and Macon Water Ice for lunch and dinner. Decadent Dessert Bar is a great café with a few breakfast and lunch items. The Monkey's Paw Tiki Lounge is a reservation only speakeasy style bar that sits below Pearl Passionate Cuisine and Cocktails. Reboot Retrocade & Bar is a retro arcade and bar all in one. Location: ~30 minutes (30.4 miles) from Best Western Bradbury Inn & Suites ~ 36 minutes (30.6 miles) from the wedding venue
Museum of Arts and Sciences
We went here to celebrate dating for five years. Don't let its boring exterior fool you, there are always plenty of interesting exhibits inside. It's a fun way to spend an afternoon.
