We hope you extend your holiday weekend and get to enjoy some of our favorite spots in Central Nebraska! The Nebraska State Fair is hosted in Grand Island from August 28–September 7, a fun way to kick off the weekend. If you’re only traveling for the day, Hastings has plenty to offer with museums, golf courses, restaurants, and bars all within a few miles.
