The first time Shanel ever saw Juni was at an MCC training and she couldn't help it, she was captivated.

All this time, they knew of each other but never really crossed paths. But by this day they both had a mutual interest and their friends kinda set them up to go Roller Skating with everyone. Ruben made the first move but he also messed it up later that night by making it clear he didn't want kids. Who does that on Day 1?

Ruben stole a kiss right in front of Shanel's mother and it was no peck on the lips. Yeah bold.

They're still confused about that one. But somehow, that day officially marked the start of a beautiful relationship.

Shanel had met Ruben's family and friends that day. That meant everything for him. Ruben said "Love you" as Shanel closed her car door to drive away. It was so quick that Shanel wasn't sure what it meant or if she even heard correctly .

After 4 long months, Shanel still couldn't get the words out but finally said it back with a keychain that quoted Ruth 1:16. It quickly became their verse.

Ruben got down on one knee and told Shanel he didn't want to be her boyfriend anymore. "Will you marry me?". She said yes!!!
