How We Met

After over a year in quarantine, we found ourselves longing to expand our social circles in Atlanta, leading us to join BumbleBFF. Shane was immediately drawn to Yaro's aptitude for interior design and infectious personality, while Yaro was captivated by Shane's passion for board games and adventurous spirit. Our virtual connection led to a real-life meeting for Mexican food at El Azteca on August 24th, 2021, with the sole intention of cultivating friendship. Nevertheless, as we indulged in frozen margaritas and shared cups of queso, it became abundantly clear that our connection ran far deeper than mere friendship. In September, Shane’s housing situation derailed, leaving him in limbo. Without hesitation, Yaro generously offered his second bedroom as a temporary sanctuary, with no set move-out date in sight. Amidst the uncertainty, love quietly blossomed between us, despite neither actively seeking it. Even with our relatively short acquaintance, we found ourselves feeling inexplicably familiar with each other, as if our souls had been intertwined long before we ever met.

Why Marriage Matters To Us

To us, marriage represents a profound commitment to each other, solidifying our bond and providing a sense of security and stability. As we look ahead to our future, we see marriage as the foundation upon which we can build a strong family unit, essential for the well-being and upbringing of our future adopted children. We believe that a legally recognized partnership will not only offer protections and benefits but also serve as a testament to our dedication to creating a loving and supportive home for our family.
