For those flying, Lake Nantahala is located 2.75 hours from Atlanta, GA, 2.5 hours from Chattanooga, TN 2 hours from Asheville, NC, and 2.5 hours from Knoxville, TN. There are many lodging options on AirBNB and VRBO. If you know that you are coming; we recommend booking lodging as soon as possible because some of the cabins tend to get reserved early.

Helpful Travel Tips

* Book your stay ASAP. It is a small area with limited availability. Most cabins request 5-7 day stay. Look at hotel options too. * If you are staying within 6 miles of the venue LET US KNOW! Otherwise, arrange carpool plans for the wedding if possible. Parking near the venue is limited. The roads are VERY winding with sharp, sudden turns. So PLEASE be safe and have a DD plan if you will be drinking. * There is NO CELL SERVICE. This is no joke. Set up your GPS BEFORE leaving your lodging. * Closest hotels are in Andrews (30 min). However, we suggest Franklin (40 min) if you’re coming via I-40 Westbound, Murphy (40 min) if you’re coming from MS/AL/Chattanooga Airport or Robbinsville (40 min) if you’re coming from Knoxville airport.
