Maid of Honor
I’m Kristen, Megan’s oldest sister and co–maid of honor. We’ve always bonded over exploring new places and trying anything fun or adventurous including new foods, kayaking, and surfing. I’m thrilled to celebrate her and this beautiful season of life and am grateful for the incredible sister and friend she is in my life.
Best Man
I first met Shane in kindergarten before rekindling our friendship freshman year of high school. He has been one of my best friends throughout college and transitioning into the real world. Shane is one of a kind and I cherish our stories whether it be traveling a foreign nation or letting the banter fly sipping on silver bullets. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Shane and Megan.
Maid of Honor
My name is Laura and I am one of Megan’s sisters. I have been married to Josh for 8 years and have two kids, Max & Lily. I get to be a stay at home mom and love spending time with my family and friends. I can’t wait to watch my little sister step into this next big adventure. Congratulations, Meggy! Can’t wait to celebrate you.
Best Man
Shane has been my best friend for over 10 years. We ran cross country together, vacationed, debated, and fought. We lived together in college where we both helped each other through our shared classes and got each other into our fair share of trouble. He has been with me through thick and thin and has always been a friend I can count on. I’m excited and honored to stand by his side as he enters the next chapter of his life with Megan.

Hi, I’m Colleen, Shane’s younger sister, and I’m currently finishing up my degree at Michigan State. I love traveling, baking, reading, and spending time outdoors whenever I need a reset. I also like watching reality TV to unwind, especially Survivor.
Groomsman
Shane and I were roommates throughout all of college, and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else by my side to start my adult life with. He’s a brother to me, and I couldn’t be more excited for him to take on this new chapter of his life with the woman he loves.

My name is Ashley, and I am Megan’s cousin. I am so honored to be a part of this special day

Shane is like a brother to me. We’ve been best friends since high school, but our story goes all the way back to first grade. He’s the definition of a ride-or-die friend, someone who’s always there for you, and we’ve been through so much together over the years. Some of my best memories and hardest laughs ever have been with Shane, and I’m truly grateful for our close friendship and all the experiences we’ve shared. I couldn’t be happier for Shane and Megan. They’re both incredible people who bring out the best in each other, and they deserve a lifetime of love and happiness. I’m honored to stand by them on their big day.

I’m Riley, and Megan is one of my longtime best friends. We met in 2016 in high school Biology (giving Mr. Zomerlei daily migraines). Then we became super close pretty much right away.
Groomsman
I first met Shane during our sophomore year of high school at my lunch table and we proceeded to stay close throughout college and adult life. Our very first interaction perfectly encapsulated the duality of his personality - he complimented my new glasses with genuine kindness, then later launched a food fight with the girls sitting next to us. It was my first glimpse of the best friend I’d come to know so well: both warm-hearted and endlessly mischievous, always ready to spark a laugh or a lively debate.

From being teens working at a restaurant together with our big priority being where our friends are going to get together after our shifts, having no idea where life will take us, to celebrating college degrees, career moves, and marriage. Almost a decade later it turns out we still having no idea where life will take us, but the journey of growing up is such a cherished time with a loyal friendship like Megan’s by my side. Tears of laughter, inside jokes, wine nights of girl talk, and everything in between. Megan has always been such a rock and place of comfort in friendship, and I am honored to stand by her side as she marries the love of her life.

I met Shane in middle school, and have remained close with him ever since. Even back then, Shane was always the guy who could turn an ordinary afternoon into something worth talking about for weeks. Since those days, the (mis)adventures we’ve gotten into together have only multiplied, and I’ve come to know and love Shane as a brother. Throughout the years, as life has changed, and we’ve changed with it, Shane has remained a true friend; someone to laugh with, to turn to, to count on. I’m excited to be a part of this day and even more excited to see what this next chapter has in store for Shane and Megan.

My name is Chloe! I’m a pediatric nurse at Helen Devos. I have known Megan for many years through mutual friends, but only became good friends 5 years ago. We both share a mutual love of mental health walks, kitties, and wine nights. I’ve seen the very beginning of Megan and Shane’s relationship, and I can’t wait to see them married! It takes a village for every relationship and hopefully, future family. I’m so honored to be considered a part of Megan and Shane’s village for this next chapter in their lives, and I can’t wait for the many more happy years to come for them.

The first person that I ever talked to after my move in to Michigan State was Shane. We hit it off right away and started a friendship that would last a lifetime. I will always be thankful for the memories made from the college dorms to now in Grand Rapids.

My name is Kalli! I know Megan (Meggy) from when we started working together at Red Robin in high school. Over the years we’ve made so many amazing memories & I'm so thrilled to have a great friend like Megan! 💗

Shane and I go back to the days of high school cross country, where we formed a bond of shared victory and shared trauma that has been reinforced over the years. What Shane says about topics ranging from international politics to his exploits in youth rec leagues makes for the most interesting conversational partner I know. What makes him a friend, however, is knowing that I could call him about anything and get his honest (and often helpful) opinion.
