Travel Note

Travel Note
You won't find any Uber or Lyft cars on the island, but if you are looking for a way to get yourself and your bags from the docks, or simply tour around the island, we'd recommend reaching out to Mackinac Island Carriage Tours. Please note - the carriages will not do "on call" pick ups past 11pm. If you are hoping for a late night carriage ride you will need to call and schedule it ahead of time. They do accept credit card payments, you will need to let them that you wish to pay by credit card at the time of booking, they will text you a payment link. (906) 847-3323
Flight
If you are flying in to Michigan, we would recommend flying in to Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) in Traverse City, Michigan. With flights through Delta, American Airlines, Allegiant, United Airlines, and more. It is about a 2 hour drive from Traverse City to Mackinaw City.
