I will admit, I was nervous when I first met Amanda. However, when she stepped out of her car and I saw how beautiful she was and got to talking with her, realizing how much we have in common, all those nerves faded away. I think however, the biggest was the love we shared for Disneyland. I still remember to this day, when we first went to the park together. She showed me the wishing well and told me this is the place she has always dreamt about being proposed too. I made sure to save that piece of information since I knew she is a keeper. She has made me a better person and has opened me up to trying new things. All of the adventures, date nights, and trips we have been on, have been the greatest memories that I will forever remember. Here is to the next amazing step in our story Amanda. I love you 3,000!

The night before I met Shane, I was catfished and almost did not go on our date! When I pulled up to the movie theater for our date I was about to drive away when he pulled next to me and waved hello. When he got out of his car and I saw he was tall and handsome, I thought might as well give him a chance. Little did I know that I met the love of my life that night and my future husband. We have come a long way since that night and I could not ask for a better man to share my life with and be the father to my children. I can’t wait to marry you and grow old with you. Maid of Honor
Brooke and I met at Pebble's Bridal and have been planning this day since we first met! We would try on wedding dresses and imagine our big days. Crazy to think that we are finally here making our dreams a reality. The moment I asked her to be my maid of honor she was buying her planner book! She has been such a huge help in this entire process. I remember the day we went to try rings and when we found the one we both broke into tears. I will forever remember that moment because I could see just how much she cared for me and was so full of joy to see me taking the next step in my relationship with Shane. She has been by my side through some of the hardest times in my life and has never walked away. I could not ask for a better maid of honor or best friend.
Megan Rissler

I first met Megan when Shane took me home to meet the family and let me tell you, she was intimidating! She sat me down and sized me up, making sure I was worthy of her little brother. It made me so happy to know that Shane had a big sister who cared so much for him. Now I know I can go to Megan for anything and she shares that sisterly love she has for Shane for me. I know that I can go to her for advice and she will always find the answer to my problems. She has been such a huge help with the wedding such as when she graciously helped plan and decorate our engagement party and took so much time and effort to make it beautiful. I am so grateful for everything that she has done for me and for us. I never had a big sister growing up but I can happily say I have one now!

Rebecca and I met at my work and we instantly hit it off. Her and Fernando actually got engaged a week after Shane and I so we instantly bonded on the wedding planning process. You know how people say sometimes you meet people and feel like you have known them your whole life, well Rebecca is one of those people to me. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met and we connected on our common interests and faith. I am so grateful to have her by my side on my wedding day and for the rest of my life as an amazing friend.
Stephanie Miranda

I met Stephanie when Shane took me home to meet the family. Stephanie was welcoming but also made sure to ask the hard hitting questions to ensure I was good enough for Shane. I remember when I went to her wedding all by myself and she was so shocked that I decided to go when her family couldn’t make it. I told her that I wouldn’t dream of missing her wedding as she is family to me. The entire weekend she made sure to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. The amount of love and compassion she showed me was so heart warming. I knew then that I had gained another big sister I never knew I needed. I know she will always have my back and will fight for me like she does for all her loved ones!
Alexis Mativi

Alexis and I met at one of our friends game nights! She made me feel instantly part of the crew and we have been friends ever sense. We both share a love for the best game ever invented Fireball Island and crumble cookies. Her bubbly energy is contagious and she can brighten anyone's day. I am so honored to call her a friend and have her in my life. Her reaction to me asking her to be my bridesmaid made me feel so happy as I have never seen anyone more excited to be part of Shane and I's big day. Thank you for everything you do and I look forward to the many more game nights and crumble cookies!
Ray Belay

Ray and I met at Pebble's Bridal. Ray is a firecracker and is the type of person who would throw down if anyone dared to mess with the people she loves. She has been a huge supporter of mine and has been imagining my big day with me every sense the bridal store. She was there for the beginning of Shane and I's relationship and has watched our relationship turn into what it is today. It is crazy to think how far we have come since we first met! I can always count on her to show up when I need her. I love our dinner dates where we can talk for hours on end till the waiter gets antsy and hints for us to leave. She is always wanting to lend a hand to help make life easier for the ones she loves. I’m so grateful knowing I have someone like you who will stand by my side through all of life’s hurdles.
Adam Myers
Best Man
The best childhood memories I have with Adam growing up is watching him play video games. My favorite one to watch him play was StarCraft. During the Pandemic we would continue this tradition as I would watch him play on Twitch. It brought us back to our youth and definitely made the Pandemic more enjoyable. I am honored to have a big brother like him and have him by my side as my best man.
Andrew Rissler
Best Man
Growing up with Andrew and I would spend our days going to dodger games and talking about players. One of my favorite memories spent with him was game 5 of the NLDS when the Dodgers were playing the Washington Nationals at Dodger Stadium and Clayton Kershaw came into the 9th to save the game. That was the first game where I was able to see the Dodgers win and there was no one else I rather have celebrated with. I am honored call him my big brother and to have him as a best man.

Fernando and I met at one of Amanda’s work events in 2022. Fernando proposed to one of Amanda’s co-workers and friend Rebecca the week after I proposed to Amanda. We quickly started talking and shared how much we love magic and we’re so excited for the magic show at the event that night. I know we both wanted to be apart of the show but we were both never picked. We have became even closer as time has gone on. We still need to go to Vegas to go see Shin Lim buddy. We need to make this happen.
Brandon Russell
Groomsman
Brandon and I met at Halloween Horror nights in 2015. We bonded over our love for horror and goofing off on set. One of my favorite memories with him is when I was walking the backlot going to set for my shift, when he comes by on the studio tour as a tour guide and stops the tour to yell my name and made everyone say hello. It is always a good time when we are together and I couldn’t ask for a better friend.
Cody Rissler

Cody and I might have lived in separate countries our whole lives but we have always been close. He is my go to when it comes to hockey and we are always taking about players and teams. I wouldn’t have been able to get as far as I have in my fantasy league without him! I was so happy when he told me he would be coming to the wedding and standing by my side as a groomsman. He is a great cousin and an even better friend.

Scott aka Luke Combs has been a staple in the Rissler family! He is the fun loving and goofy friend everyone needs in their lives. He is always cracking jokes and never fails to make everyone happy. One drunken day, Scott decided to go online and get ordained so he could marry Stephanie! I remember at Stephanie's wedding he looked me in the eyes and told me the next people he would marry would be Shane and I. Little did I know that he was 100% right. Shane and I are lucky to have such an amazing person in our lives to help join us together.

Diana is the kindest and most caring person you will ever meet. I am so lucky to call her my mother and my friend. She has been my number one supporter my whole life and has never failed to ensure we were all taken care of. She is wonder woman and will be there whenever you call. I will always be your little girl and I will always love you. Thank you for being the best mom I could ever ask for!

Nathan has always called me the best birthday present he has ever had (sometimes sarcastically). We are both strong headed people and definitely butted heads a lot growing up. No matter what I knew that Nathan would do anything for me and always would take care of me. He is a big jokester and never fails to make me laugh. I am lucky to call him my brother and I am honored to have him walk me down the aisle.

First off, I am so happy to call you my Mom. I am grateful for everything you have provided, taught, and given up for me. My funniest memory might honestly be the time you dropped Dad and I off at Fenway Park in Boston and we’re supposed to drive back to the hotel which was about 20 miles away, yet somehow, you almost ended up at the New Hampshire state border. Needless to say, that was the last time you drove on that trip. For all the jokes and sarcasm, I appreciate and am grateful everyday of my life for you. I love you very much and am very thankful to call you my Mom.

My Dad and I have shared a lot of the same interests throughout our lives, the biggest being the bond over the Dodgers. Honestly, no greater thing then getting to go to games with him and my brother Andrew. After waiting my entire life, I got to say I finally saw them win the World Series and I got to enjoy those games with my Dad. I have learned a lot from him and I respect the hard work he put in everyday of his life for us to have an amazing life. He is the most selfless person I have ever met and for that, I’m truly grateful and honored to call him my Dad. I love you old man.

Addison has been a blessing in all our lives. It has been an amazing experience watching her grow up and discover the world. I am lucky to have such an amazing niece like her! Talk about a cutie pie! Adam and I have always talked about it this way, whenever that day comes where a guy is coming to his door to bring Nova to prom, we will be reenacting the “intimidating Reggie scene” from Bad Boys 2. I will always be by her side getting her dinosaur presents and playing hide and seek. I love you so much Nova girl!
