We’re getting married!

Shane and I met on Bumble and instantly connected on our common interests and sense of humor. Our first date was on April 11, 2019. Little did I know that I would be meeting my future husband that day. One of Shane and I's favorite places to visit is Disneyland (not a big surprise) and this is where our love story really began. It is at Disneyland that we would fall deeper in love sharing stories of our youth while in line and appreciating each others company while strolling down Main Street. One day I decided to show Shane the Snow White Wishing Well and expressed to him that I always imagined myself getting engaged here every since I was a little girl. What I did not know at the time was that Shane had decided that I was the person he wanted to share the rest of his life with and was planning on asking for my hand.

It was then on December 18, 2021 that Shane would ask me to marry him. In true Shane fashion he would take us to the Wishing Well multiple times that day to ensure the lighting was just right for the photos. On the last go around a Disney photographer was present and we did a photoshoot around the well. Around the last pose she asked if there was any other poses we would like to do. Shane the cheeseball that he is exclaimed "Just this one" and got down on one knee. It was such a magical moment especially since our parents were there to witness it all. We spend the rest of the night experiencing the Christmas magic and just reliving the moment. As special as Disneyland has been to us as individuals it is even more special now as it is the place where we first fell in love and our happily ever after began.
