Madi and I spent a few summers in NYC together while she was living there. They were varying in length and kept getting longer. I think the last one I had to have stayed a whole month! We met through her mom, Jennifer, who I worked with at the time. The first time we met we went to the NYC Zoo and quickly became friends.

Jill is one of my favorite friend meet-cute stories! In passing, I saw Jill moving in across the hall in my apartment building. We probably said "hello" a couple times, but had not had the chance to have a conversation. One Sunday morning in church I was sitting my myself. I saw Jill pass by and instantly knew we were going to be friends. I asked her if she wanted to sit by me and the rest is friendship history!
