Tim and Shandi met on Facebook like so many people are meeting online these days. They had both almost given up on online dating and thought this was one last ditch effort. Somehow they had matched and immediately hit it off. They talked on the phone for an entire Saturday and they made plans to go out on Tuesday. They knew they were hitting it off, and the next day Shandi went to Tim's house to meet him and to watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. The running joke became that they would "See what happened Tuesday" anytime they would mention liking each other or having fun on their date. Little did they know they were almost inseparable after this wonderful Tuesday.

Tim bought tickets to Zoo Lights months before they were to go. They were excited to take Hudson to see all of the beautiful lights and displays. Tim insisted that they dress up so they could get some nice pictures. Shandi questioned why they would dress up to go to the zoo. She always has to know the "why" of everything, no go with the flow for her. Little did she know he had a plan. They walked into the zoo and took the obligatory entry photo and walked a little down the path. Of course Shandi was looking at the pictures she had taken on her phone and didn't notice anything was happening. Shandi heard Hudson say, "Hey! We were looking for you!." to her brother. She looked up and noticed famlily members walking toward them. Little did she know, Mitzi (Tim's Bonus mom) gave Shandi a big hug to give Tim some time to get ready. Shandi saw the rest of her family and was bewildered as to what was going on. She turned around to see the man she loves on one knee. He said "You're my best friend...will you marry me?" They are both a little fuzzy on what he actually said, nerves get the best of people, but they both know it was the perfect exchange. it is possible the first thing she said was, "you have to put it on me!" HaHa She did say "YES!" soon after. The ring slid on her finger. Hugs and kisses were exchanged and everyone felt the love. It was incredible for Tim to orchestrate the whole family to be there and it made it even more special! ! it was one of the best days of both of their lives.

Marrying Tim comes with a special gift. Shandi has always wanted a family and Tim came with just that. A sweet, caring and special little boy, Hudson. Hudson has a beautiful smile and contagious laugh. He is the most caring human who says he loves you every five minutes. Talk about making you feel special. He has such a sweet soul and anyone is lucky to have him in their lives. Tim and Shandi are so lucky that their families get along so well and Hudson is a part of that. No one can have too many people to love them. Hudson deserves their love more than anyone in the world!
