Phoenix to Ensenada

We recommend driving from Phoenix to Ensenada. It is approximately a 6-7 hour drive and very safe. Have some pesos or US cash handy to pay tolls. The hotel/hacienda is located about 40 miles south of Tijuana, Mexico. If you do not want to drive there is a direct flight from Phoenix to the Tijuana airport. Once you arrive at the airport you can rent a car, take an Uber or taxi to the resort, or contact the resort directly to arrange transportation ahead of time (+1 888 311 6076). When returning to the US, please take into consideration that there can be a long wait time at the border depending on the day/time you decide to return. The below is a useful website to determine border wait times: https://bwt.cbp.gov/ When traveling back into the US, you can use either the San Ysidro/Otay Mesa, Mexicali, or Tecate (If traveling back to Arizona) port of entry.
