Good Harbor Beach

Just a short drive away in Gloucester, this beach offers soft sand, waves for boogie boarding, and stunning views of Salt Island.

Plum Cove Beach

A hidden gem in Gloucester (and right down the road from our house), this small, quiet beach offers calm waters and a perfect spot to catch the sunset. We love coming here for a post- or pre-work dip!

The Lobster Pool

One of our favorite casual lunch spots in the area! Set right on the water’s edge in Rockport, The Lobster Pool serves up casual, fresh seafood with a stunning view. Bring your own drinks and enjoy the outdoor picnic tables as you watch the sunset over Ipswich Bay.

Shan's personal favorite restaurant in town! Located in Gloucester, The Lobster is a laid-back seafood restaurant offering hearty portions of fresh, local catch. Whether you’re craving lobster, fried clams, or fish tacos, this spot delivers classic New England flavors with harbor views. (PS: Shan recommends the lobster grilled cheese).
