We met at work - on Amanda's first day at the company Shahan was working for in Chicago. After two years, getting to know each other over a lot of water cooler chats, and some friendly movie 'dates', we made it official.

We went to Acadia National Park in Maine for a long (and chilly) fall weekend in October. We got up at the crack of dawn Sunday morning to catch the sunrise view from Bubbles Divide Mountain. As the sun was rising over Jordan Pond and the beautiful fall foliage, Shahan proposed to Amanda at the top of the mountain. It was perfect & magical!
