We’re getting married!

Shaina and Nate "matched" on a dating app when Shaina was on set for a web series in Crystal Lake. After chatting through her tech week of Beauty and the Beast, they decided to meet up. Nate drove all the way to Chicago in rush hour traffic to meet up at Noodles and Company. After Nate nearly died of laughter over a super punny joke Shaina made, they decided to take a walk around Wrigleyville.

The day started horribly. The cat we had adopted together was sick. Family members were in the hospital. Shaina was dealing with work drama. But it was Nate's birthday, and we had standing plans to visit Christkindlmarket together before Shaina had to rush off to the first day of tech week for Annie and Nate had to go to work. We had gone every year and got a mug and a stuffed pizza pretzel each time. After searching in vain for a somewhat secluded spot that did not exist, Nate finally asked Shaina if she would marry him. She said yes!
