Pablo and I met through the Tinder application during our last year of college. My best friend Celina encouraged me to use the application while on winter break from Towson University in Maryland. Pablo was local, attending Rutgers University and reached out to me after an intense session at the gym, where he felt confident and quickly sent me his number. I thought he was super cute and we talked for weeks until we went on our first date at Carraba's Italian Restaurant and AMC theaters to watch the Hunger Games. Our connection was so instantaneous; it was so natural, as if I had known him for years and I remember saying to myself "I have a feeling he's going to be in my life for a while." After winter break was over, Pablo and I went back to our respective colleges and kept in constant contact with each other. It was then over spring break in NJ, specifically March 18th 2014 that we saw each other and he asked me to be his girlfriend. Since then our lives have forever been changed for the better. We have been inseparable since, traveling to various places, being supportive of each other's life aspirations, and moving into our very first apartment together. We know that the best is yet to come and we are truly beyond ecstatic to start this new chapter as the future Mr. and Mrs. Vera with all of our loved ones.

It was my first time visiting Europe, but Pablo knew it was a dream of mine to one day travel there. Pablo proposed to be in Barcelona, Spain on December 1st 2019 at the Parc De la Cituadella and it was beyond stunning. One of my best friends and MOH, Radha Patel coincidentally was planning a trip to Spain during that time and attended our proposal and took all our engagement photos. It was truly one of the best moments in my life. <3
