Shaelee Barnett

Maid of Honor

Not only do Shae and I share a nickname(Shae and Shai), we have shared in so many special moments together. Through the good and the bad, I can count on Shae to be there for me! I'm so blessed to have her as a part of my dearest friends and now as my Maid of honor. One of my favorite memories with Shae was on our trip to Disneyland. After hours and hours of being cooped up in a car, we finally made it to the hotel. As I was relaxing on my bed, Shae whacked me, right in the back of the head, with a pillow! This started an EPIC pillow fight!

Kimberly Thompson

Matron of Honor

Kim and I go way back!!! Like, we've been friends since birth. We went to pre-k and Kindergarten together, rode horses together, called each other often when I moved, went to each others graduations, talked about boys, I was in her wedding, and now she's going to be in mine!!! One of my favorite memories with Kim was when she went with me to visit my grandmas grave. She held me as I cried and told me it was ok to cry. It was a precious moment I will never forget. Love you Kim!

Angelene Garlinghouse

Bridesmaid

I have never been able to understand why the parents of the bride and groom aren't on stage as part of the wedding party. I mean, my mom is one of my best friends. She's loved me even in my worst moments. I believe she deserves a place on stage with other woman who mean the world to me. My mom is my biggest fan. Cheering me on in whatever I do, leading me towards Christ, and being an amazing example of what a Godly mom and wife looks like. I couldn't be more blessed to have her as my mom and friend. One of my favorite memories with her was when we went to the beach just her and me. I was twelve. She told me all about boys and how I should be treated by them. I have always cherished this advice and it has helped me "Weed Out" the good and the bad. Now she will be with me as I marry my love

Evania Garlinghouse

Bridesmaid

My dear sister Evania teaches me things everyday. She is so smart it blows my mind. It seems as though her every spare moment is spent learning more things through reading. I admire this so much about her. One of my favorite memories with Evania was when we went on a mission trip to Ecuador together. We were the only girls on the trip so we shared a room. Our hosts made us some delicious peanut butter chicken. Evania and I loved it. The next day we found out that part of why the flavor was so great was they had put PIG Intestine in it!!! To this day Evania still cant believe she ate intestine. LOL Love you Vania!

Ady Garlinghouse

Bridesmaid

Near the beginning of Kyle's and my relationship I went on a double date with Ady. After spending some time getting to know Kyle, Ady whispered to me, "Shai, he is the one!!!" Boy was she right!!! My dear sister Ady and I have shared so many memories together. Baking bugs, living in a travel trailer, riding horses, creating our own band, and so much more! One of my favorite memories with Ady was when we wrote a book together. I think we were between the ages of seven and nine. The book was about a princess of the flowers. She could heal plant life and make them grow. We schemed and wrote for weeks till we had a six page story, complete with drawings. I think I still have it somewhere. I Love you Ady!

Gabriela Henry

Bridesmaid

Gabby and I met working at a Christian school together. Working with babies everyday makes you long for a REAL conversation sometimes. So we would talk for hours about everything. Even the really tough stuff. I learned how strong and special Gabby is. Now she is going to be in my wedding!!! One of my favorite memories with Gabby was when we spent a weekend at the coast together. We both needed to get away and relax. Kyle actually helped us rent a house for the weekend and gave us some little welcome gifts. (Smooth move Kyle, very smooth) One of the gifts was a game called "Wet Heads." You put on a hat and pass it to each other till a sup of water explodes on your head. Gabby's reaction was priceless. "Oh, oh, I'm wet!!!" LOL Love you Gabby!

Kassie Engberg

Bridesmaid

I met Kassie when I was an awkward twelve year old girl who had just moved to Oregon. Kassie accepted me right away and taught me its ok to be weird, of course she would be weird with me! So we went to a Thor movie dressed up like the characters, we were in a Biblical drama together, did Bible quizzing, made a ginger bread house together, had an empty nerd box war, and so much more! One of my favorite moments with Kassie was when she forgave me when I didn't deserve it. I had hurt her, bad. And yet she was so quick to forgive me and love me anyway. That forgiveness taught me how I should forgive others. Love you Kassie!!!

Kierztin Garlinghouse

Flower Girl

Kierztin has blessed me time and time again with her sweet spirit. If I ever need someone to cheer me up, Kierzy is the one to go to! I love her sweet heart for others and for God. One of my favorite moments was when, Kierzy and I shared a room for about five months. During that time she choose to sleep with me even though she had her own bed. I loved her cuddles every night. Now she is going to be my "Head Flower Girl" helping the others follow instructions and being an example to them. Love you Kierzy!

Kira Merrell

Flower Girl

Kira is very special to me. When she was a baby I adopted her as my niece, I loved her too much to be her "friend." I fell in love with her in the hospital, the moment I saw her. My favorite memory with Kira was when I watched her over night. Her parents were spending a night away. I kept Kira in my room in her little pack and play just in case she needed something in the middle of the night. She slept soundly. But that was such a special night hearing her breath in her sleep. I love you baby girl!

Elija Garlinghouse

Ring Bearer

Elija is like a ray of sunshine everywhere he goes. Often he surprises me wit his witty remarks that just crack me up. He is a special guy. One of my favorite memories with Elija was being there when he was born. I got to see him take his very first breath and cut his umbilical cord. Since then I have loved being his older sister. Love you Elija!
