He swiped right.... She swiped right.... It was a match made!

Wow did we do a lot over only a handful of years... Jessie changed jobs twice before settling into her current position with Syracuse University, Kory graduated with his associates degree from Onondaga Community College, we moved out of our apartment and into "The Barn," Kory graduated with his bachelor's from Utica College and started a new job, we bought our first home, got our fur baby and drama queen, Skylar, Jessie started her masters program, and we somehow still managed to take countless adventures together! At this point there was only one thing left to do....

Now if you've stayed with this long, you know what was coming next.... WINNING A WEDDING!! Did we surprise you there!? In typical Kory and Jessie "cart before the horse" fashion we won a wedding through a bridal magazine before being engaged!

It started like any other "pandemic-era" day - work from home, gym, lack of excitement - when Kory asked Jessie to go to dinner that night. Of course Jessie jumped at the opportunity to wear REAL clothes as opposed to her usual attire of sweats and a t-shirt... Moreover, it meant she didn't have to cook dinner that night! Little did she know that Kory had called her dad, Paul, that morning to ask for his blessing of our marriage - and asked him to keep it a secret from Donna, her mom, since she can't hold her excitement in from others! As their dinner reservation approached, Kory asked Jessie to move outside with him to the deck and watch as their crazy dog, Skylar, ran around the yard. From behind, Kory spoke, "we've made a beautiful life together - and I can't see myself doing that with anyone else but you." As Jessie turned around, Kory was already down on one knee and asked Jessie to marry him! Of course she said yes!! Jessie and Kory (but ESPECIALLY Ms. Planner Jessie) knew this day would come, but neither of them expected to get so emotional - It was such a perfect moment!

As the next chapter of our life begins, we can't wait to celebrate our new adventure with you!
