What time should I arrive for the wedding?

Answer

Doors open at 3:30pm, so feel free to join after that time to mingle with other guests. Light refreshments will be available at this time. The wedding is scheduled to start at 4pm, so please do not come later than that time.

Can I bring a Plus One?

Plus Ones have already been distributed to guests. You can see if you’ve been allotted one when submitting your RSVP. If you have further questions, please reach out!

Are kids welcome to the wedding?

Respectfully, we are having a child-free wedding. Please refer to your RSVP to see all who is invited in your group. Invitations do not extend past your listing.

What should I wear?

Answer

Please dress nicely in warm, rich fall colors that reflect the cozy elegance of the season Think of the harvest palette in full bloom: Autumn leaves, spiced cranberry, roasted chestnuts, and velvety moss green. A quick note: the bride calls dibs on white, so please choose a different colour! This is an indoor venue, with original wood flooring. Since the paneling may be uneven in places, you might want to ditch the heels for some flats!

Will there be food?

Answer

If you know Shaela at all, then you know the answer to this: yes! Food will be available throughout the event, including a buffet-style dinner. We hope you like Italian!

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, alcohol is provided, but limited. Please keep your drinking to a tasteful amount— it’s there to enjoy, but not overindulge. As much as it may pain us to do so, overly intoxicated people will be required to leave.

Is there a suggested hotel?

Answer

The recommended hotel for this event is the Chehalis Holiday Inn & Suites. Join the bride and groom for continental breakfast in the lobby, the morning after the big event! More info can be found on the “Schedule” and “Travel” tabs. Please note, hotel reservations must be made by October 1st, to obtain the hotel block rate

Is the venue accessible?

Answer

The wedding takes place in a two-story venue. A stairwell links the two floors, and offers a stairlift chair. The venue requests notice for powering the system, so please notify Shaela if someone in your group might use it. Bathrooms are available on both floors, with the 1st floor housing accessible stalls. Additionally, please keep in mind that the venue is 100+ years old with original wooding. Some planks may be slightly raised than others, so careful footing is suggested

What is a “Mulan” and why should I care?

Answer

If you saw the Wedding Party tab, you should know this answer! Mulan is Shaela & Grayson’s dog. Depending on her mood, she may be a guest star at the event. Keep an eye out for her!
