Just a 10-minute drive from downtown Banff, take the gondola up Sulphur Mountain for panoramic views of Banff and the surrounding Rockies. We recommend going early in the morning to avoid the large crowds. If purchasing tickets in advance (which we recommend), bring the credit card you purchased the tickets with you as well!

A must-see! Lake Louise is a glacier-fed lake with unreal turquoise water and stunning mountain views. The iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is located right here - definitely worth stopping to enjoy lunch or a drink. Please note that parking is limited, so we recommend using the shuttle service to get there.
One of our favorite spots is Emerald Lake! It is about 1 hour and 20 minutes from Banff located in nearby Yoho National Park. This quieter (but just as beautiful) lake is perfect for canoeing or a scenic walk. Heads up: Parking is limited, especially later in the day. We recommend arriving before 10 AM to avoid crowds and secure a spot.
Another beautiful spot worth checking out is Peyto Lake - known for its bright turquoise water and unique shape. It's a quick walk to the viewpoint and makes for a great stop if you're exploring the Icefields Parkway during the weekend.
