Travel Note

Note for out of town guests

We have held a limited number of rooms at the Comfort Suites at a discount rate. You may call the hotel directly at 303-526-2000 and ask for “Reservations” and tell the hotel that you wish to make a reservation for the Sands-Roosevelt Group. In order to obtain guaranteed availability at the group rate, please make your reservation prior to August 27th, 2019. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to either Shadrey or Megan. If you are planning to rent a car, we also recommend looking at AirBnB and at some of the great hotel options further into the mountains, in Boulder, or in Denver depending on how you want to spend the rest of your time in Colorado.

Flight

Denver International Airport

For out of town guests, the closest large airport will be in Denver, about 45 minutes from the venue. Much of the Denver metro area is easily accessible through public transit. You can take the AB bus from the airport to many destinations along Route 36 (ending at Boulder), or the A Line train from the airport into downtown Denver (ending at Union Station). There are also many rental car options at DIA. If you're going with public transit, but have questions about schedules, routes, fares, logistics, etc., feel free to reach out to one of us in advance of the wedding weekend! Both bride and groom are seasoned RTD riders.

This is hotel is a few minutes' drive from the venue, and is where we have reserved a block of single and double suites. It is also right next door to El Rancho Brewing Company, where we will be on Saturday night to casually welcome any guests who would like to drop by.
