Jenny and Ryan found love in a hopeless place called Funky Murphy’s in Worcester. A happy accident led away from Boston for different reasons only to get introduced at a bar in a town next to where they both grew up. They didn’t know one another before this night but it would go down in history as arguably the suavest pick up performance known to man. After a long walk from the bar to the high top tables, (really just 5 feet away), Jenny reluctantly let Ryan sit down to rest his feet as he was “tired from the long walk”. She had mistakenly thought Ryan had just graduated from college and was living on his own for the first time. However, Ryan quickly clarified that he was 27 and had been living solo in South Boston for a while. Impressed, Jenny gave him her number, and Ryan, before having to leave, asked her out on a formal date. “I’m not holding my breath,” Jenny said, fully expecting he would never follow up. At 9 a.m. the next day, Ryan texted Jenny, “Are you still holding your breath?” Shortly after, their first date took place. The next day, Ryan had to take off on a two-week work trip across the country, but when he returned, it was as if they had never been apart. Their relationship quickly deepened, and a successful meeting with their respective siblings solidified their bond, making them an official couple less than a month after they met. Fast forward three years, and they’ve explored countless destinations together: from President’s Club in Croatia to a football match in Manchester, England; from the charming streets of Provincetown and Portland, Maine, to an unforgettable biking adventure that took them 400+ miles across Ireland from south to north - the two started to see the world together as a united front. Countless new friends and family members were introduced as their love grew stronger and stronger and here we are now, just months away from the wedding day. Thanks to everyone who can join us on the happiest day (so far) of our lives.
