Please arrive 30 min prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and a seat. The ceremony will begin at 3 PM so plan to arrive at 2:30. Once the ceremony begins, entrance will not be granted until the ceremony is completed.
In order for our guests to be fully present during our wedding we are having an 'unplugged ceremony,' which means no phones or cameras. We have an amazing photographer and videographer to capture this special moment for us, which we will be more than happy to share with you after the big day. You are more than welcome to capture pictures during the reception!
In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one they will appear when you RSVP.
Yes! Dark colors are preferred! All formal attire and.... no white or green :) weather will be warm.
All dark colors are preferred. Dark reds, dark blues, dark purples, dark greys, blacks, dark browns, etc. The weather will be warm so jackets for men are optional, however, dress shirts must not be white please! Please no green! 💚🤍
There is accommodation available and listed under the travel section of our website. 1 bedroom standard hotel rooms plus 2 and 3 bedroom villas are available, all with kitchens. All accommodations at Foxhall are pet friendly! 2 night minimums are required when booking online. But 1 nights are allowed if booked by the front desk. Call 770-489-4380 to book! Closest hotels that are not at the venue are located in Douglasville, GA for around $99 a night! About 15-20 min away from the venue.
Yes children that are invited will appear on your formal invitation and must be included in your RSVP if they will be in attendance, as our catering team will have a children’s buffet set up for them and seats must be accounted for during the ceremony and reception.
The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be held on-site at Foxhall Resort in Douglasville, Georgia. Ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. Reception to follow will be indoors.
Our venue's address is 8000 Capps Ferry Rd Douglasville, GA 30135. You can use this address to view the location in Google Maps. Once you arrive, you'll first see the clubhouse and room check in as the first building on the left. Maps of the venue space can be received there or printed online. The road splits past the clubhouse. Prior to the split, to the left is the all the accommodations and the road straight ahead is the road to the venue.
All RSVPs must be received by August 20th in order for us to be able to save you a spot during our special day.
If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as "Not Attending." We will miss celebrating with you but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time frame they have given us. Thank you for understanding.
We invite you to RSVP online, here on our website, as its the best way for us to track RSVPs. If you prefer to RSVP by mail please allow extra time for shipping as our mail service in the area runs very slow.
Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! If you are not walking back to your accommodations at Fox Hall, please plan your transportation accordingly! Golf carts are available to rent from the resort!
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour, while we take pictures of the start of our forever, followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. Please include your entree choice in your RSVP so our caterers can plan accordingly. We will offer two meat options (Braised Beef & Atlantic Salmon), one vegetarian (wild mushroom ravioli), and a kids buffet for 12 and under (chicken tenders and fruit platters).
If you would like to change your choice for dinner, feel free to either reach out directly to Natasha at 336-460-3255 or go through the RSVP process again and you'll be able to re-select your meal option. Meal selections will be locked in at the RSVP due date.
There is plenty of car parking available at our venue and all across Foxhall. Parking is available directly next to our venue space and signage will be posted.
